DIFFERENCES IN GOOD TO GREAT ESPRESSO PART 1
First of all espresso can come in many different forms and taste many different ways. Water, roast time, beans, tamping, the barista, all of these can factor in for great espresso.
A lot of people have asked me about the quality of my espresso and how we make it taste so good, other have said it’s alright, and we have had people that didn’t favor it to others. My conclusion is just this everyone will almost always taste what they want to taste. But this is some information on how espresso is made and you can be the judge.
The roast, this is very important because espresso roast comes from Italy and you have a northern roast which is lighter, and there is a southern roast which is very dark.
Some people roast in different ways they will blend their coffees together and then roast or they will roast each coffee individually then blend afterwards. Some have differences in opinion on which is a better way, so again it leads back to everyone will taste what they want to taste.
